Welcome to Sisters for Laws--- A Workspace for those who want to improve our quality of life, not just for the few, but for the many. We support causes that preserve, protect, and co-create a just and better world that we all can embrace for generations to come. We support high impact causes that support the betterment of women, children and others whose voices are yearning to be heard or those whose needs have far too long gone ignored. Our initiatives so far have resulted in the passing into
Maryland State Law, The Bone Marrow Awareness Act,
a bill that helps increase the number of people who can
donate bone marrow, thus saving more lives of those
suffering from rare and chronic health conditions.
Another initiative that we have supported and advocated for is Senate Bill 17 that advocates for children in Child Custody cases where Domestic Violence is noted. This law aims to require judges to engage in training as to what protocols to follow to put protections in place for children where Domestic Violence is present.
